Friendly staff, from pro shop to starter to outpost bartenders. They really make it a full experience for you. The photos don’t do the course and location enough justice. The layout is tremendous, the fairways and greens are in superb shape and the walk is quite literally breathtaking. When I play here, it requires mental concentration and physical stamina. You’ll walk about 8 miles and gain about 900ft of ascent. Each hole requires a strategic approach from tee to green. There is plenty of room on most holes, but if you miss, it can swiftly punish you. I love the walk, the scenery and the challenge. I would definitely play it again anytime in the future.

Amazing views of Puget Sound and plenty of scenic spots throughout the walk. The layout is challenging but fun, and the grounds are very well maintained. Even if you're not an avid golfer, the scenery alone makes the visit worthwhile.

Absolute peak experience at Chambers Bay. Had a 7am tee time booked so we arrived early morning and were greeted by a ride down to the course from the pro shop. Practice putting greens and range were in great condition, and got us warmed up before starting the round. Every step of the course was breathtaking. It was relatively cloudy early but cleared gradually and opened an unreal view across the entire course and Puget Sound. The course itself was quite humbling, with tricky tiered greens and bunkers that stretched entire fairways. Can’t say that I’ve had a better time golfing anywhere else. Absolutely peak.

beautiful area to walk around and explore and go down to the water. there is a walking bridge over the train tracks that takes you down to the beach and remnants of an old factory. huge concrete structures. absolutely amazing. makes you feel like you are at a historical site? highly recommend for walking and exploring.

I had the privilege to play here again recently after 11 years. And it did not disappoint! First of all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The course was in phenomenal condition!! We got lucky with the weather. Advice if you're coming to play for the first time. It is strictly WALKING ONLY! So be prepared to walk 7 miles up hill practically the whole front 9. Also, if you want the best chance to play good. GET A CADDY! Trust me. They're free, but obviously tip them good. They're so knowledgeable of the course. If there was ANY course you needed detailed course knowledge on, it is at Chambers Bay!! There are places you can NOT hit it, If you want to give yourself the least stressful next shot. But They're the most knowledgeable is on the greens. I've never been that stumped after being confident of the break and speed, and then humbled after when it is often the complete opposite of what you see. Down grain they're fast, into the grain you practically have to put your hip into your putt... Don't go for the pin at all cost. You must play to the contours. You can hit it at the complete opposite side of the pin and watch that ball make its way towards the hole from the other s
